Nike ACG Crocodilian (2001)

The Nike ACG Crocodilian in the Marina colorway, released in 2001, is one of the most unconventional designs to emerge from the ACG line. Featuring a sandal-meets-runner hybrid silhouette, it’s built with a breathable teal mesh upper, perforated neoprene, and soft mint foam lining. Translucent yellow synthetic overlays provide structure and lock-down, mimicking the texture and wrap of reptilian skin—hence the name.
The outsole is a standout on its own, sporting a rugged, grippy tread with exaggerated pod-like lugs for multidirectional traction. ACG branding hits the heel, while a small Swoosh sits on the medial overlay. Lightweight, eccentric, and built for agility, the Crocodilian remains a rare artifact from Nike’s early-2000s experimental golden age.

Condition is great preowned with little signs of wear and some signs of aging on the upper, discoloured rubbers throughout. Still flexible (even with shoe-trees), might not be wearable for too long due to age. Wear at own risk.
