Nike Air ‘Alpha Project’ The Glove - Gary Payton IV (2001)

Gary Payton, aka the Glove, got his nickname thanks to his cousin who shouted he was “holding (Kevin) Johnson like a baseball in a glove” during the Western Conference Finals in 1993.

Payton was named to the NBA’s All Defensive First Team for the ninth time in his career. The only player that matched him was Michael Jordan. A true hero being the defensive guard like no other in NBA’s history.

Condition is like new with minor signs of aging such as the back-side’s plastic parts and eyelets, and signs of storing on the upper. Quite minimal, not too noticeable when wearing. Wear at own risk, due to age.
